Get Paid to Clean Up Stormwater Runoff and Beautify Your Community!
The Prince George’s County Department of Environmental Resources will host a series of public workshops to provide information on the County’s new Rain Check Rebate Program. The program provides cash rebates to residents and businesses for managing rainwater runoff on their property.
The workshops will explore the best management practices covered by the program which include: rain barrels; rain gardens; cisterns; tree planting; permeable pavement or pavers; pavement removal and green roofs.
County staff will provide detailed information on each practice, discuss the program’s eligibility requirements, explain how to apply and help you determine which practice will work for your property.
Details: All workshops will be held from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
