Prince George’s County police are searching for a man who they believe shot and killed a hotel employee Monday night in Oxon Hill.
Shortly after 10 p.m., a man with a handgun entered the lobby of the Clarion Hotel in the 6400 block of Oxon Hill Road and demanded money, police said. The man later shot an employee who worked in the hotel bar.
The man fled, police said, and remains on the loose.
When police arrived at the hotel, they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The victim’s name was withheld pending the notification of relatives.
