Three Arrested for Oxon Hill Hotel Homicide, Robbery

 

Prince George’s County Police have arrested three men in connection with the shooting death of an Oxon Hill hotel worker, and they say the trio may be responsible for other armed robberies in the area.

 

Both Deandre Weems, 20, and Kimfrey Williams, 23, were charged with first degree murder; Washington is charged with second-degree murder. All three are being held on a no-bond status, Prince George’s County Police Spokeswoman Julie Parker announced Monday morning. 

 

Restaurant manager Jesse Alexis Chavez, 27, of Fort Washington was fatally shot on October 21 after confronting a robbery suspect at the Clarion Hotel. 

 

The suspect, identified by police as Weems,entered the lobby, jumped over the counter and demanded money from the front desk clerk. The woman complied, and the suspect got away with $300.
