The Prince George’s County Planning Department invites you to a countywide meeting on primary healthcare and the New Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Jericho Christian Academy, 8500 Jericho City Drive, Landover, MD 20785 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Under the leadership of Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker III, the Planning Department has embarked on the development of a Primary Healthcare Strategic Plan that will support significant improvements in the health of all citizens and residents of our county.

The Strategic Plan will guide how the County develops an integrated healthcare system with high-quality and accessible primary healthcare, and hospital care. It will also offer how the county should continue to strengthen and invest its resources to help improve healthcare for ALL.

The upcoming community meetings will allow YOU—community leaders, residents, and stakeholders an opportunity to provide input on improving the County’s healthcare system, discuss health promotion and disease prevention, and ways to enhance our community’s quality of life.
