CAMP SPRINGS, Md. -Video captured on home security cameras shows two suspects breaking into a Prince George’s County home on Monday afternoon, and the man who lives there hopes it will lead to arrests in the case.
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, tells FOX 5 thieves broke into his Camp Springs home around 1:15 p.m., and cameras both inside and outside the house caught the whole thing.
The video shows a red Mini Cooper with D.C. tags backing up into the driveway. The man and woman inside the car got out and walked up to the door. On the video, the woman is seen knocking, and when there was no answer, the man kicked the door in.
The victim says the suspects were inside about 10 minutes. They took TVs and computers, and ransacked the house. He says after the break-in, his wife, daughter and son all stayed at a hotel Monday night because they were afraid to stay in their own home.
