Pepco Contractor to Conduct Reliability Work Along Suitland Parkway 
Motorists Asked to Please Reduce Speed in W.A. Chester Work Zones

Pepco contractor W.A. Chester will be improving the underground utilities along Suitland Parkway starting April 7. The work will cause lane closures and reduced speed in work zones through May 23. Most work will be restricted to 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. but may extend longer on weekends. 
District of Columbia and Maryland police will be performing traffic enforcement before, during and after the proposed schedule. About 15 to 25 workers and large vehicles will be in each work area so please drive carefully and be mindful of your speed.
