Camp Springs Civic Association’s Meeting Recaps Community Issues

Camp Springs Civic Association’s meeting was held on May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Thurgood G. Marshall Middle School in Camp Springs, Md.

“It has been a great fiscal year for us. We’ve done a lot of community work this year. You all have been wonderful in helping us to accomplish many things,” Tammy Jones, President of the Camp Springs Civic Association said to fellow attendees.

The meeting focused on sharing some accomplishments and updates from Maryland Sen. C. Anthony Muse(D-Dist. 26), Del. Kris Valderrama, Del. Veronica L. Turner (26), and Del. Jay Walker (26). Jones also acknowledged Kevin Hicks of Annie’s Art Gallery and several other business owners who have participated in community partnerships.
