The Prince George’s County Council will hold an Education Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, from 7:00 –9:00 p.m., at Central High School, 200 Cabin Branch Road, in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
Council Chairman Mel Franklin (D) – District 9 encourages County residents to attend and participate in the EducationTown Hall Meeting.
“This is important community dialogue, and the opinions, questions and recommendations of County residents are critical factors as the Council considers the proposed FY 2016 County spending plan.”
The County Council’s Education Town Hall Meeting will feature an opportunity to hear directly from County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III and Prince George’s County Schools CEO, Dr. Kevin M. Maxwell on the basis, rationale and objectives for education spending in the proposed FY 2016 County Budget.
