Prince George’s County and Maryland Solar United Neighborhood (MD SUN) are seeking volunteers to bring energy to communities in the County. Help your community gain access to affordable, reliable and carbon-free energy by becoming a Prince George’s County Solar Co-op Community Partner/Ambassador!
A Solar Co-op Community Partner/Ambassador is responsible for organizing their neighbors or any group of homeowners to leverage collective buying power to purchase solar in bulk. MD SUN will guide you and your community through the process of negotiating a group discount (up to 20 percent) on the installation of solar panels. Partners/Ambassadors can be a nonprofit, a community organization or an individual with the time and support to implement a solar co-op from start to finish.
If you are interested in becoming a Prince George’s County Solar Co-op Community Partner/Ambassador, email Akosua Dosu, Sustainability Coordinator, Prince George’s County Department of the Environment, at adosu@co.pg.md.us by June 5, 2015.

Thank you and we look forward to working with you.
