County Offices Close for Columbus Day Holiday

Prince George’s County government offices will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2015 in observance of Columbus Day, with the exception of the facilities and operations noted below:

Animal Services Facility

(By appointment only)

(Collection will resume on Oct. 13, 2015)
Trash Collection in County-Contracted Areas Collections will occur
Curbside Recycling Collection Collections will occur

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation, will operate a normal route service on Monday, October 12, 2015 except for Route 51 which serves County government buildings. Normal service on Route 51 will resume onTuesday, October 13, 2015. The County’s Call-A-Bus service will not operate on October 12, 2015.  Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will also be closed on Monday, October 12, 2015. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

In addition, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2015 and will return to normal operations on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/
