
Residents are advised to monitor County website for update on when services will resume
LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) advises residents and businesses that the following operations and services operated by DoE will be suspended on Monday, January 25, 2016. Residents are asked to remain patient while the County makes every effort to resume services in a safe and timely manner. In the interim, residents are advised to monitor the County’s website, social media and news outlets for further details on when services may resume.
DoE services/operations suspended include:

All regular trash, bulky trash, recycling and yard waste collections;

All services located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill in Upper Marlboro including:

Brown Station Road Public Container Pad,
Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site,
Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site, and
Scrap tire and appliance disposal sites and Recycling Area;

The Prince George’s County Yard Waste Composting Facility;
Materials Recycling Facility (MRF); and
Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center (Brandywine).
In addition, all services available at the Prince George’s County Animal Services Facility will be CLOSED on Monday, January 25, 2016. Customers are advised to contact the Animal Services Facility at (301) 780-7200 to report any animal emergencies.
