County Council District 8 Special Election
The voting center at the Southern Regional Technology & Recreation Complex located at 7007 Bock Road, will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 for the County Council District 8 special election.
Ballot Drop Boxes will be available at the following locations:
Prince George’s County Materials Recycling Facility (1000 Ritchie Road) (Closed December 24 and December 25)
Prince George’s County Organics Composting Facility (Closed December 24 and December 25)

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT), will operate a Saturday service schedule on Friday, December 24, 2021; last trips at 4:00 p.m. to the end of the line. TheBuswill not operate on Saturday, December 25, 2021. Regular COVID-operated service of TheBus will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021. The County’s Call-A-Bus service, including the PGC Link and Orange Circulator,will not operate on Friday, December 24, or Saturday, December 25, 2021. Regular COVID-operations services will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021.
The Prince George’s County Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 27, 2021.
PGC311 will be closed on Friday, December 24, 2021, and will return to regular operations on Monday, December 27, 2021, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/.
