How Do We Help Each Other Pick Up the Pieces When Teen Dating Violence Occurs?
The “Pieces” Teen Art Exhibition is calling for your original works of mixed media, sculpture, painting, drawing, animation, digital art,
or multi-media depicting how we can pick up the pieces from teen dating violence TOGETHER.
Submit a photo of your artwork to a panel of professional artists and art managers for a chance to win a PRIZE.
Deadline to submit is January 29, 2021.
Please join the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Prince George’s County Department of Family Services and the Prince George’s County Human Trafficking Taskforce on Friday, January 15, 2021 for its No Excuse for Dating Abuse Virtual Paint and Parley. As we continue to navigate during these unprecedented times, we must ensure the safety of our youth.
During this virtual event, we will share with parents how to recognize key indicators of human trafficking, as well as signs that your child may be in an unhealthy dating relationship. We will facilitate the discussion on how to put a viable safety plan in place for your children.
