The Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T) will offer Residential Street Sweeping. This is the first time in Prince George’s County’s history!
The Residential Street Sweeping Program will significantly reduce the amount of debris along residential roadways. This will help prevent litter buildup. It also mitigates potential pollutants in our ecosystem. Phase I of this exciting new program launched in September 2024. Phase II Countywide Street Sweeping will start on April 14, 2025.
