Join me for a COVID-19 Tele-Town Hall on Tuesday
On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, we will host a Tele-Town Hall at 6:30 PM to update County employees and residents on the County Government’s response to COVID-19. If you would like to join the call, please click here to register. Anyone who signs up will receive an automated call with further instructions before the telephone town hall begins at 6:30 PM. A call-in number is not required to gain access.
If you don’t want to be on the call, but still want to listen, you can tune in to CTV Channel 76 (Verizon Fios 42) to listen live. We hope you will join us as we provide critical updates to our community.

Emergency Feeding – Every Tuesday: Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020
Dear District 8,
To provide some mental and physical relief, I want to make sure our District 8 residents are not suffering from a lack of food during this crisis. I am honored to be partnering with St. Stephen’s Baptist Church to provide groceries, including produce, to our residents during this pandemic. Every Tuesday, starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020 – 1:00-3:00 pm, food will be distributed in the parking lot of St. Stephen’s Baptist Church. Stay in your cars, as the food will be brought to you in your car. District 8 is committed to doing all that we can for our residents. Should you have questions, please contact D-8 Constituent Services Director, Carla Cash at 240.435.0317.
Please continue to Stay Connected in healthy ways, as we move through this crisis together!
In Service,
Honorable Monique Anderson-Walker
County Council Member – District 8
