Friday, February 1, 2019 – Schools and central offices will close 2 hours early.
Friday, February 1, 2019 – PGCPS – Due to the anticipated winter weather and deteriorating road conditions starting around rush hour, schools and central offices will close 2 hours early.
- ECC, Prekindergarten programs: the p.m. prekindergarten, preschool, and toddler students do not attend. The a.m. prekindergarten and preschool students stay later and ride regular p.m. buses home. A lunch will be provided.
- Food Services will provide lunch.
- All after school and evening activities, including Evening High School, are cancelled.
- All PGCPS Before and After School Extended Learning Programs and vendor managed program sites are closing at 4pm.
- School Based Staff can leave with students. Central office and emergency personnel are to follow their regular schedule.
Viernes, 1 de febrero de 2019 – PGCPS – Debido a la anticipación del tiempo de invierno y el deterioro de las carreteras que comenzará alrededor de la hora de mayor tráfico, las escuelas y las oficinas cerrarán dos horas temprano.
- Lineamientos para los centros de primera infancia/prekínder: Los estudiantes de prekínder y de preescolar, y los niños pequeños no asistirán a los programas de la tarde. Los estudiantes de prekínder y de preescolar de la mañana se quedarán hasta más tarde y tomarán los autobuses por la tarde para regresar a casa. Se ofrecerá almuerzo.
- El departamento de alimentación servirá el almuerzo.
- Todas las actividades extraescolares y de la tarde, incluida la Escuela Superior Nocturna, quedan canceladas.
- Los Programas de Cuidado Antes y Después de Clases cerrarán a las 4 p. m.

EMERGENCY PERSONNEL must report to work on time and are not eligible for liberal leave.
- There will be no work-study transportation. (Those students should not report to school.)
- There will be no half-day Early Childhood Center (ECC), half-day Special Education Programs, or half-day PreK.
- Any other school program requiring transportation prior to 12 noon will NOT have transportation, including Howard B. Owens Science Center, JA Finance Park, and William S. Schmidt Center (Camp Schmidt)
- All field trips will be cancelled.
- Food Services will offer breakfast.
We will re-evaluate at 6:30 a.m.
Jueves, 31 de enero — PGCPS— Código naranja: Las escuelas comenzarán dos horas después del horario normal.
El personal de emergencia no es eligible para tomar licencia liberal, y debe presentarse a trabajar puntualmente.
