This fall explore history in your backyard by taking self-guided and guided tours at our museums and historic sites or by participating in interactive and engaging events like Echoes in the Enslaved and Latinas in Aviation Global Festival. Labor Day Holiday Waste Collection Schedule
Residents are reminded that effective July 1, 2024, an updated holiday waste collection schedule went into effect. On the following holidays, all collections for curbside food scraps/yard trim, regular bulky, trash, and recycling will SLIDE one day throughout the week:
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth Day (observed)
- Independence Day (observed)
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day (observed)
- New Year’s Day (observed)
Residents should adhere to the schedule when placing their items at curbside for the upcoming Labor Day holiday.
