Upcoming Citizens’ Police Academy Session #42

The Prince George’s County Police Department Districts IV and VII are accepting applications for the Citizens’ Police Academy, Session #42. The scheduled start date will be Monday, March 12, 2018 and end with a graduation ceremony on Monday, June 11, 2018.  This training opportunity allows our community partners to become familiar with the Prince George’s County Police Department and provides exposure to officer related training such as investigative procedures, conflict management, crime scene investigations, less lethal weapons, judgment enhancement training, and much more.  Each District is allowed to send up to 7 community members.  If you are interested, please fill out the attached forms and email them back to the respective District points of contact:

 You are Invited to Attend the Annual County Government Budget Listening Sessions

Dear Friend:

County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III invites residents and businesses to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, January 30th, 7:00 p.m. at Oxon Hill High School, 6701 Leyte Drive in Oxon Hill, MD.  This is the first of three sessions where participants will have an opportunity to share their views about the County’s FY 2019 proposed budget with County Executive Baker. 

Your feedback could make a difference and impact how the County Executive and his staff develop the next County budget. Participants who wish to speak can sign in on-site, register online or call 301-952-4547. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Participants who testify will be limited to three (3) minutes. If you are unable to attend, you can submit written testimony by using the online registration form. Each of the budget sessions will be streamed live via the County website – view live.
