Join us Tonight at @AnniesArtGaller for our May Family Night Poetry Open Mic
Join Poet in Residence, Sistah Joy and Djembe drummer, Doc Powell and the Family Night crew at Annie’s Art Gallery for this month’s FREE Family Night Poetry Open Mic Night, Thursday, May 21 (6-9 PM). All are welcome.
May is a great month to share poetry. Whether you would like to honor Malcolm X, present a positive message acknowledging May as Mental Health Awareness Month, celebrate and honor a graduate, or simply surround yourself with positive people, come jump on the mic at Annie’s Art Gallery and make something great happen!
We look forward to seeing you at Annie’s Art Gallery this Thursday (and every 3rd Thursday!) when we celebrate poetry and our community.
Light refreshments served. Free off-street parking. Fun, uplifting and powerful poetry presented for and by all ages. Musicians, vocalists, visual artists, and all positive art forms are also welcomed at Annie’s Family Night Open Mic. Let the community know what you do and how we can support you. This is what we’re about at Family Night.
