The US Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward up to $100,000 for information in connection with the shooting death of a postal worker Saturday night.
Police said Tyson Jerome Barnette, 26, of Upper Marlboro, Md., was on duty when he was shot and killed around 7:20 p.m. in the 6000 block of Reed Street in Cheverly, Md.
Fellow postal workers came to the scene, and told News4’s Darcy Spencer that they worried about their own safety as well. “That could have been me,” one told Spencer.
