The Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) application is open for high school juniors. Apply now through April 11th, 2014.  SLE is highly competitive – there are normally 6,000 applicants and 1,000 attendees. SLE offers will be sent now through 1 May 2014.  SLE gives high school juniors a week to experience life as a cadet to inform their college selection decision. SLE is a fast-paced program of academic classes, military training, physical fitness training and intramural athletics conducted during the month of June each year. There will be two week long SLE sessions this June –  SLE session #1: from 7-13 June 2014 and SLE session #2: 14-20 June 2014. 

Here are some preliminary requirements to attend the SLE:

SLE Applicants must:

• be a high school junior (current year)
• be a US citizen
• reach the age of 17 by July 1, 2015 (the year they would be a USMA freshman)
