Community in the Courthouse- Friday January 23, 2015

THE PROSECUTOR

Prince George’s County State’s Attorney

Angela D. Alsobrooks

Seeking justice for all through firm, fair and consistent prosecutions

with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Friends and neighbors-

I would like to remind you that the first Community in the Courthouse of 2015 is fast approaching. On Friday, January 23, 2015 I will be joined by County Executive Rushern Baker for a question and answer session, to discuss last year’s crime statistics as well as other issues important to Prince Georgians. Crime is down for the fourth straight year but there is still much work to be done.

It will certainly be an interesting discussion and we want to hear from you. I am looking forward to a great conversation.  Please consider bringing a friend or neighbor to our meeting.  I would surely be interested in meeting and welcoming all those who are involved in Prince George’s County. Please RSVP with Michael Summers at mgsummers@co.pg.md.us, so that we can be sure we have enough coffee and light breakfast food for the group!

For any updates or changes on trials, sentencing hearings or State’s Attorney’s Office activities, you can follow our blog at http://www.pgstatesattorney.wordpress.com or follow us on Twitter @PG_SAO. I would also just like to remind you to check out our office Flickr page. We have lots of pictures from events all over the county and if you happen to see yourself in one of our photos, please feel free to download it and keep it for yourself. You can access the website at https://http://www.flickr.com/photos/pgsao.

Finally, I truly do enjoy being out in the community so if you would like me or a member of our office to attend an event in the community simply send an email request to adalsobrooks@co.pg.md.us, we would love to hear from you!

As always, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and for taking an interest in our wonderful county.

Sincerely,

Angela D. Alsobrooks

State’s Attorney
