To fill the vacancy created by the expiration of the term of Dr. Daniel Kaufman, County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III is now accepting applications from residents who are interested in serving as an At-Large appointed member of the Prince George’s County Board of Education. Appointments to the Board of Education are the result of the school governance structure specified in Chapter 147 of the 2013 Laws of Maryland (House Bill 1107).

The appointee must possess a high level of knowledge and expertise concerning the successful administration of a large business, nonprofit organization, or government entity.
