Prince George’s County Government Offices to Close for Christmas Holiday

The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment (DoE) announces the following services and facilities will be closed or suspended on Friday, December 25, 2015.

Brown Station Road Public Convenience Center Closed
Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site
(Located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)
Closed
Household Hazardous Waste Acceptance Site
(Located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill)
Closed
Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center Closed
Prince George’s County Yard Waste Composting Facility Closed
Prince George’s County Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) Closed
Bulky Trash Collection
(By appointment only)
No Collection
(Collection will resume on Dec. 28, 2015)
Trash Collection in County Contracted Areas No Collection
(Collection will resume on Dec. 28, 2015)
Curbside Recycling Collection No Collection
(Collection will resume on Dec. 28, 2015)

 

TheBus, a public transit service operated by the Prince George’s County Department of Public Works and Transportation, will not operate on Friday, December 25, 2015.  Regular operations ofTheBus will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015. In addition, the County’s Para-Transit and Call-A-Bus service will not operate on Friday, December 25, 2015. Normal operations of the Para-transit services and Call-A-Bus will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015

The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015. Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 28, 2015.

In addition, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015 and will return to normal operations on Monday, December 28, 2015.  However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com/
