Don’t miss your chance to join 400 high school student leaders at the Youth Voices for Diversity Summit on Saturday, March 18 at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville!

The summit will bring together students from Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, Baltimore City and the District of Columbiac Schools for a day of youth leadership, learning, and action. The event agenda will entail the following:

  • 9:30-9:50: Welcoming Remarks 
  • 9:50-10:30:Youth TED Talks on Diversity
  • 10:40-11:15: Speak Up! Speak Out! Against everyday stereotyping, prejudice, and hate.
  • 11:15-12:00 Break Out Discussion Topics on Youth Leadership, Collective Action, Identity, Heart & Hustle, Using Digital Power for Good, Turning Moments into Movements, Milennials and more, College and Beyond, etc.
  • 12:10-12:30: Sharing Lessons Learned
  • 12:30-1:00: Lunch & Networking
Youth leaders will have discussions regarding diversity, challenges, opportunities, and action items they can bring back to their schools. Be change agents and ambassadors for diversity and respect in your school! All participants will receive student service learning hours.  You can register via this Google Form and will need to fill out the attached permission form.
