County Waste Collection Services Resume

Residents are advised that services may experience slight delays
LARGO, MD – The Prince George’s County Department of the Environment announces all curbside bulky, regular trash and recycling collections resume Thursday, March 22, 2018. Residents are advised that due to road and weather-related conditions, collection services may experience slight delays. Every effort will be made to complete all collection service routes not serviced on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 after completion of Thursday’s regularly scheduled collections. Residents are reminded to place their collection receptacles at curbside free of snow and ice. Please keep in mind that collections can occur anytime from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
In addition, all services located at the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill in Upper Marlboro; including the Brown Station Road Public Container Pad and Recycling Area, the Household Hazardous Acceptance Site, the Electronics Recycling Acceptance Site, and scrap tire and appliance disposal sites are open on time.
The Prince George’s County Organics Composting Facility in Upper Marlboro, Missouri Avenue Solid Waste Acceptance and Recycling Center in Brandywine and the Materials Recycling Facility in Capitol Heights, are open on time.
