Thank You Camp Springs!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the residents of our Camp Springs Community for their participation in our Community Shred Day & Food Drive.  It was a wonderful event and a huge success.  We served over 300 cars and collected enough canned goods to donate to two local food pantries.  A special thank you to our partners: Arch of Knowledge, Inc., for organizing the event, the Camp Springs Civic Association, The Denney House, Inc. and also Councilmember Monique Anderson-Walker for her support. Thank you to Pastor Tiefel and his team at First Baptist Church of Camp Springs for providing the space to help make this event happen.

Our society has been devastated by the Covid-19 pandemic among other issues. We must continue to find avenues to uplift our community and stand strong through these tough times. Every little bit helps and I employ everyone to do a part. Together we will keep our community sustained and flourishing while meeting the needs of one another.

Sincerely,

John E. Bailey IV,

Camp Springs Civic Association, President
