Today! UM Capital Region Medical Center Ribbon Cutting Celebration at 2pm

You are invited to tune in today, Tuesday, June 8, 2:00pm, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

The completion of the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center represents a historical moment for Prince George’s County and the surrounding area. The state of the art facility will replace the current Prince George’s Hospital Center, constructed as part of a strategy to transform the County’s healthcare system into an efficient, effective and financially viable healthcare delivery system, bringing a Level II Trauma Center, emergency care, dedicated floor for Women’s and Infant Health, a heart & vascular Institute, a designated stroke center, an orthopedics center and much more.
