STUDENTS You are invited! “March for Our Lives” Town Hall – THIS Friday, March 23rd
Greetings District 8 Constituents and friends!
Student safety is a major concern today in education. I am writing to share a great opportunity for students to participate in the solution. I invite our students to join us as we participate in the WUSA-TV 9 LIVE “March for Our Lives” Town Hall this Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6pm-7pm. This important town hall discussion will be held at the Sidney Harman Hall, located at 610 F Street, NW DC (near the Capital One Arena). It would be great to hear student’s concerns and ideas as leaders and experts across the region look for the best practices to address and resolve this problem in our schools. Hope to see your students there!

Tonight’s Board of Education meeting is cancelled and is rescheduled for Thursday, March 29, 2018.
Tonight’s Science and Technology Open House Information Session for Oxon Hill High School is rescheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 6:00 PM. Please email ohhs.st@pgcps.org if you have any additional questions.
Also, tonight’s Academy of Health Sciences Parent Information Session is cancelled. If you have any questions please call the school at (301) 546-7247.
